Pedagogy of partnership and supervision as a new scientific direction.
Abstract
The article reveals the essence of pedagogy of partnership and supervision as a science that studies the processes of upbringing, education, and personal development based on interaction and cooperation between equal participants in the educational process – teachers, students, their parents, and the community. The object of the scientific field is defined as educational partnership and supervision; the subject is the patterns and principles, content, and means of educational partnership and supervision. The tasks of pedagogy of partnership and supervision have been established: identifying the patterns of the functioning of educational partnership and supervision processes; improving models of educational partnership and supervision; studying and summarising the experience of implementing educational partnership and supervision in the context of reforming Ukrainian schools; harmonising the practice of implementing educational partnership and supervision in Ukraine with the experience of their organisation in developed countries around the world. The system of categories distinguishes two subsystems: categories of educational partnership (educational partnership, its subjects, objects, means, and results) and categories of supervision (supervision customer, supervisee, supervisor, supervision cycle). The principles of partnership pedagogy (respect for the individual, friendliness and positive attitude, trust in relationships, dialogue – interaction – mutual respect, distributed leadership, social partnership) and supervision (human centeredness and humanism, accessibility, responsibility, academic integrity and freedom, voluntariness, objectivity, democracy, promotion of lifelong learning) as guiding ideas for their organisation and implementation. The interdisciplinary nature of the theory and practice of educational partnership and supervision has been proven, and links with philosophical, pedagogical, and psychological sciences have been specified.
