Development of partnership pedagogy in the space of education institutions of Ukraine at the beginning of the ХХІ st century

Abstract

The article identifies the features of the development of partnership pedagogy in the space of education institutions of Ukraine at the beginning of the ХХІ st century. The paper notes that partnership pedagogy focuses on the interaction between all participants in the educational process, in particular students, teachers and parents, which is important for the development of the individual, their self-realization and selfimprovement in society. The article notes that partnership pedagogy is becoming especially important in the context of reforming the educational system of Ukraine at the beginning of the ХХІ st century, it contributes to the formation of an open and flexible educational system that supports democratic principles and critical thinking of students. The principles and characteristics of partnership pedagogy are identified – equality, mutual support and responsibility. The importance of all participants (teachers, students, parents) being equal partners in learning, and the process being built on trust, mutual respect and cooperation is indicated. The Concept of Education «New Ukrainian School» is characterized, which includes partnership pedagogy as one of the main components, an important aspect of which is the integration of parents into the educational process, which contributes to the development of students in a harmonious educational atmosphere. The role of the teacher within the framework of partnership pedagogy as a coach, facilitator and trainer is revealed, who contributes to the development of students, helping them formulate questions and find answers to them. Tolerance and responsibility are defined and characterized as one of the features and principles on which partnership pedagogy is based. It is noted that the development of responsibility, empathy and constructive interaction with the environment in children is important. It is proven that partnership pedagogy contributes to the development of the education system, making it more open, democratic and focused on the needs of students and their development in the modern world.
