Formation of professional competence of music students during practical training
Abstract
The article carries out a theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of formation of professional competence of student musicians in the process of passing pedagogical practice. The essence of the professional competence of the future music teacher is determined as an integrative characteristic of the personality, which combines musical and performing, pedagogical, methodical, communicative and reflective components. Modern scientific approaches of Ukrainian researchers in recent years regarding the competence training of art and music specialists have been analysed. The pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of the professional competence of future teachers of art and music during pedagogical practice in institutions of general secondary education are substantiated (staged practical training; mentoring (tutoring); reflective activity; use of digital technologies); creative and heuristic nature of tasks). The role of reflection, mentoring, synthesis of theoretical knowledge and practical activity, as well as digital technologies in the professional development of the future teacher-musician is revealed. The main directions in which the professional competence of future music teachers is formed in the conditions of practical training are determined (targeted (outlines the goal (formation of integrated professional competence capable of ensuring high-quality teaching of musical art in institutions of general secondary education); substantive (includes musical and pedagogical disciplines aimed at the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students of higher education); technological (provided by passing students of higher education in pedagogical practice, reflective activity, participation in creative projects, use of innovative technologies); productive (proves the formation of professional readiness, which is manifested in the ability for independent musical and pedagogical activity, professional self-development and creative self-realisation).
