Professional personnel development in the continuous education of adults.

Abstract

A theoretical and methodological aspects of professional development have been substantiated. The goals, tasks, principles of professional development have been defined and its components have been singled out. The place of professional development has been presented in the system of continuous education of adults. The goal of professional personnel development is to provide institutions with employees who have those quality characteristics that meet its objectives and development strategies. The author identifies such tasks as identification and support of the staff capable to learning, activation of employees' potential abilities, establishment of reserve managers, creation of the system for office and qualification development and career planning. According to the tasks the sequence of components for professional personnel development has been built.
