Readiness of the future PhD for research and innovation activity as a psychological and pedagogical problem.
Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the essence
of the concept of “readiness of the future PHD for
research and innovation activity”. This concept is new
for psychological and pedagogical discourse. The
theoretical analysis of adjacent concepts was made:
“readiness for professional activity”, “readiness for
professional innovation activity”, “readiness for
innovative pedagogical activity”. It is shown that
readiness for professional innovation activity is
conditioned by factors such as: operational readiness,
which means mastering the technology of
implementation of innovation activity, which includes a
set of professional knowledge, skills, methods and
techniques that will guarantee the process of
generation, development and dissemination of
innovations; the formation of professional and
innovative qualities that determine personal readiness
for transformation, which we understand as the
motivational and volitional qualities of an individual, the
ability to creative thinking and reflection, and the desire
for self-development and self-improvement; the
availability of innovative environment that creates
conditions for collective interaction and promotes the
most complete disclosure of the innovative potential
and creative activity of the individual. The analysis of
scientific sources has demonstrated the complexity
and multi-vector approach to the discovery of the
concept of “readiness for innovative professional
activity”, which scientists treat as a system, personal
quality, personal position, personal status, integrated
quality of the individual, integrative formation.
According to the results of the theoretical researches,
it was determined that the readiness of future PhD for
research and innovation activity is the integrative
quality of the individual, characterized by the existing
innovative and professional qualities, as well as
operational readiness for productive activities aimed at
the creation, development and the dissemination of
new knowledge, the effectiveness of which greatly
increases in an innovative environment.
