The article considers the problem of the creative use of the ideas of prominent Polish pedagogue Y.Korchak in the system of work of a nursery school with parents. There has been singled out a complex of ideas, principles, approaches to the family upbringing which can be used with the purpose of raising pedagogical culture of a family. There is provided certain experience of nursery schools in this field.
