CHOOSING THE OPTIMAL STRATEGY OF BEHAVIOR OF CHARACTERS IN THE GAME "GAMEDAY"

Abstract

The article deals with finding the optimal strategy of character behavior in the game "GamerDay". The nature of the game requires the definition of one or more optimal strategies that vary pricing for internal games. The strategy should satisfy the needs of not only the player, but also the owner of the game. One of the parameters that significantly affects the development of characters is the time to
pass a certain stage of the game or get a prize.
In this paper, a review of strategic games and the establishment of the parameters of optimality of the game Gameday, an analysis of possible parameters for optimizing the behavior of the characters of the game, an algorithm for finding the optimal strategy for the behavior of the characters.
Determining the optimal strategy of character behavior in the game is an important factor not only for developers but also for players. The knowledge of the necessary strategy by the owner allows him to set prices for internal games so that his profit is maximized, but at the same time, so that the interest of the players is not lost. The choice of a descriptive strategy is based on eleven criteria, which include the Bayes, Wald, Savage, Ideal Experiment, Hurwitz, Hermeyer and product criteria. In turn, each of the criteria is based on a payment matrix, which includes the type of reward, the entrance fee to the game, the number of days required to receive the reward, the price of the reward. The optimality of the strategies is calculated for two parameters: maximum gain and minimum risk.
Based on the established optimal strategy, it is possible to provide a recommendation to the owner of the game:
- If the chosen strategies for the player and the owner for both parameters coincide - then the chosen price for the game is the most successful for the player and the owner
- If the selected strategies do not match, then it is necessary to change the price of the game and run the algorithm again until the strategies match.
