The collection of scientific papers “Modern Problems of Modeling” ensures long-term preservation and open access to published materials in accordance with the principles of open science and international standards for the preservation of scholarly information.

Archiving of publications is carried out through the following channels:

• publication of materials on the official website of the journal (https://magazine.mdpu.org.ua/index.php/spm/issue/archive);
• use of the electronic editorial system (Open Journal Systems, OJS), which provides centralized storage of metadata and full-text content;
• preservation of materials in PDF formats that meet long-term archiving requirements.

To enhance the reliability of preservation and accessibility of materials, the journal may use external archiving and repository systems, including the institutional repository of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University (https://eprints.mdpu.org.ua/).

The Journal Guarantees

• continuous open access to published materials;
• preservation of persistent identifiers (DOIs);
• availability of metadata for indexing in academic databases;
• preservation of the archive even in the event of journal discontinuation (through transfer of materials to a repository or archival institution).

The editorial board conducts regular monitoring of the technical condition of the archive and updates storage tools in accordance with current requirements.
